Blackout Roller blinds for Ysgol Ystalyfera, as 21st Century Schools Project continues

Welsh medium education within the borough of Neath Port Talbot will have received £22 million of investment by 2018 through the 21st Century Schools Project.  Swanmac has already provided blinds for several schools as a part of this initiative – and this recently extended to Ysgol Ystalyfera in Swansea.

A new three storey teaching block was fitted with over 120 commercial blackout roller blinds, 100 braille door signs and wall logos.  We also installed over 90 metres of window manifestation which provides glare reduction and crucially, makes the glass more easily visible.

This is the latest of our schools and education blinds installations, and we are delighted to have worked on this project which supports the development of the best possible learning environment for students.
