Radio Operated blinds for CLC Health and Fitness Centre

As a part of a long-term and on-going investment through its CLC Flourish Initiative, the Health and Fitness centre of Cheltenham Ladies College is undergoing development, due to be completed in the Spring of 2018.

The aim is to develop talent and enthusiasm for sports and exercise at all levels and so the college, a leading independent school in Gloucestershire, is investing in a centre that will include six badminton courts; a hockey pitch; a netball court; a 58-station gym; free weights area, a multipurpose dance and activity studios, plus an area for rowing.

The project is led by Kier Group plc, with design by architects Roberts Limbrick.  As a part of this development Swanmac are delighted to have supplied and installed radio operated blinds in the main hall.

The radio operated binds ensure that the staff and pupils of Cheltenham Ladies College have finely tuned control within the hall, enabling them to manage both heat and light allowed to enter. This in turn ensures that the perfect environment for sports activities is maintained.

We wish the staff and pupils many years of healthy enjoyment and success!
