Vertical Blinds and Printed Blackout Blinds for Bristol Hospice

Swanmac is delighted to confirm that our team is due to install vertical blinds and curtain tracks to all windows, plus printed blackout blinds to quiet rooms at the newly extended St. Peter’s Hospice in Bristol.

The hospice was built in 1997 and since then has provided a range of services, including in-patient and day services, to those who are living with life-limiting illnesses in Bristol and its immediate surrounds.

The extension and refurbishment will provide an additional 15 bed in-patient unit, complete with en-suites and facilities for family members to stay overnight. The new wing will also have a therapy spa, new ambulance entrance, café plus a sanctuary room for much-needed relaxation and reflection.

This project is managed by contractor Andrew Scott with design by Worcester based KKE Architects.   Coming in at a total cost of £6.5 million, the development has relied heavily on fundraising to support the build – including becoming the charity partner for the renowned 2018 Bristol Balloon Fiesta.

The team at Swanmac are looking forward to this installation in October – and the subsequent launch of the new wing!
