Sunscreen and blackout blinds for Tonyrefail Super School

As the 21st Century Schools project in Wales continues, Swanmac is delighted to have been instructed by contractor Morgan Sindall to install over 300 sunscreen and blackout roller blinds at the new school in Tonyrefail.

The brand-new state of the art buildings costing £44million will house both primary and secondary school students with the second phase of remodelling also housing secondary students on the existing Victorian site due for completion in March 2019.

We are delighted to install a variety of roller blinds – our sunscreen blinds will ensure that students and staff are protected from the sun’s glare, whilst maintaining an ambient temperature and also light levels.  Our blackout roller blinds however, ensure that light is completely excluded and are perfect for presentations, in classrooms and offices.

The Swanmac team wish the staff and new students well.  Take a look at the coming together of the old and new buildings in this ‘fly through’ video.
