From having its planning consent granted in 2017, the brand-new Royal Nation Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases (RNHRD) and Therapies Centre in Bath is nearing completion and is due to open in the late Spring of this year.
The centre aims to be the ‘bridge’ connecting and signposting patients to support and resources in the community that will enable them to manage their lives on a daily basis. In a nurturing environment, the Centre will provide the very latest facilities for rheumatology, therapies and pain management.
Patients will benefit from a gymnasium, hydrotherapy pool, an assessment and teaching kitchen, assessment bedroom and bathroom, a Skype clinic room alongside a clinic and treatment rooms. The design of the centre also aims to provide a welcoming space at the front of the hospital. With this in mind, the existing main entrance will be connected to two new buildings to ensure that the hospital remains in context with its surroundings of the World Heritage City of Bath.
Project Update: September 2019
We were delighted to showcase some of our work to the client during the last week of August.
The project involved the installation of a number of cubicle tracks and curtains around each of the beds. Many of the curtains have been embroidered with a bespoke design – in this instance messages were hygiene and patient care standards focussed.
We are able to embroider or print messages on any product, whether blinds or curtains, according to the client requirements. A superb solution that enables an every-day item to support your branding or as demonstrated here, offer reminders of important messages!
