With increasing demand to bring natural light into our offices and works spaces, along with recent advances in glazing technology, rooflight blinds are in high demand. The latest rooflight shading systems are designed to cover these spaces in an elegant way whilst coping with extremes in temperature, solar radiation and even wind speed.

These pressures can result in fabric breakdown, fabric pulling away, creasing or sagging.  Making a good choice means that Swanmac Ltd will find a system to solve all of these issues with professional engineered systems designed with slim side channels, zipped edge retention technology, High tensile fabrics and custom hardware powder coating.

Some of the systems we offer are:

KuroLok Rooflight blind

Kuro Lok Roof Light:

  • Tensioned roller blind, fully enclosed within cassette and side channels
  • Operated by electric motor or manual gear and tensioned by powerful Constant Tension Spring units.
  • Blackout or sunscreen fabric is locked into the side channels along its full length to minimise sagging.
  • Cassette and side channels finished in white (RAL9016) as standard.
  • Any RAL colour available to order
  • Suitable for sloping windows

Shy Zip skylight blind

Shy Zip FTS

  • Able to accommodate most large glazing areas – up to 6m width.
  • Fabric tension system (FTS) ensures that wide and/or long blinds operate with minimal sagging or rippling.
  • SHY’s wireless rooflight blind has no visible guide wires and uses a patented spring box and heavy duty hem bar to reduce sag.

  • An effortless range of stylist solutions for large glass expanses.
  • Silent Gliss wintergarden systems combine side-guide profiles and soft-folding fabric panels to achieve an elegant interior window treatments

MSW Specials

MSW Specials

The MSW specials enable very unique solutions. With the unique spring system, the fabric will be kept under continuous tension. Is available in many different sizes and shapes.

  • For inner – and outer installation
  • Available in screen and darkening fabric
  • As well from left to right, as from right to left moving (for MSW 2000 series only)
  • Wind Class 3; Wind resistant up to 6 Beaufort
  • No visible cords, the cords are hidden in the guides through an integrated cord system (except for the 2000S MSW and MSW Dome)

  • MSW 2000: Triangular shaped screens
  • MSW 3000: Trapezoidal shaped screens
  • MSF 400: Parallelogram or polygon shaped screens
