In the Autumn of 2016, Public Health Wales relocated over 500 members of staff from its existing offices and into No 2 Capital Quarter in the centre of Cardiff.
Taking four floors of the seven-storey building, Public Health Wales has created an environment which promotes staff collaboration and learning – in a building that has been furnished with a brief that focussed on environmental and social sustainability.
Through a consortium of Rype Office, Greenstream Flooring and Orangebox, this brief has been met. Furniture has been recycled, social enterprise has played a significant part of the fit-out and advice has been taken from accessibility specialists.
As a part of this relocation, Swanmac have provided and installed 250 roller blinds, over 150 meters of window manifestations and custom made logos!
This is a further commercial project in the heart of the Welsh capital that we are thrilled to have been a part of!
