At a colossal 270,000 sq ft, 6 Central Square will be the largest office scheme in Cardiff. Sitting on the old Media Wales building, the site is to bring several Government Departments together.
HMRC will take just under 90% of the space after relocation from Llanishen, with the remaining areas used for other Government departments, including Innovate UK.
The development which will comprise 12 floors and accommodate 4,000 staff is due to become operational in the Autumn of 2020. The Swanmac team will be on-site during the first quarter of 2020 to install 1000 sunscreen roller blinds and blackout blinds to meeting rooms.
Our roller blinds are stylish and space-saving so as not to encumber the interior of the new office. Furthermore, the durable wipe-clean material means that these blinds will maintain their appearance for a long time to come whilst providing the necessary protection from the sun’s rays.
