The refurbishment of Albany House, the 11-storey office space in Birmingham includes an internal strip-out and refurbishment of shared spaces and vacant offices.
Now known as SouthSide Building, the offices cover 51,000 sq ft of office space and are to be re-configured to create a combination of flexible working space plus open-plan suites and smaller offices. A meeting room and break-out areas, café and bike storage will also be available to tenants.
The refurbishment is aimed to support a growing number of SMEs and tech companies that are in the Birmingham area and will provide a flexible working environment for these businesses.
Under instruction by main contractor Willmott Dixon, we will be onsite to install high spec curtains and fully enclosed blackout blinds.
Curtains are to be installed within the café and will provide a warm and comfortable environment for tenants to relax or hold informal meetings. Conversely, our fully enclosed blackout blinds will ensure that offices have the benefit of complete blackout for presentations and of course, managing levels light entering the office. Our blinds are durable, robust and because they are fully enclosed, provide an almost hidden appearance.
