#TeamSwanmac takes great pride in supporting a range of first-class contractors to support the health and care sectors. This project is no different.
Alongside Vaughandale Construction, we are installing over 140 metres of Silent Gliss 6650 anti-ligature cubicle tracking systems to five new wards at Bassetlaw Hospital.
The hospital is a part of the Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, looking after a population of more than 420,000 across South Yorkshire and North Nottinghamshire. Bassetlaw Hospital itself is one of three sites within the Trust. Located in Worksop, it offers a 170-bed acute hospital with 24-hr Emergency Department and a full range of hospital services including Breast-care Unit and Renal Dialysis.
Our Silent Gliss anti-ligature cubicle tracking is used to provide privacy for patients that are considered vulnerable. This could be due to mental health concerns, or if they are in used around children. The fittings simply release and lower the cubicle tracking system to the floor if a weighted load is detected.
