Bristol Airport is a thriving regional airport that is currently undergoing major redevelopment. During the first half of 2019, the airport has transported over 7 million passengers. With continued growth planned, a new administration building for its 375 staff is under construction.
Contractor R & M Williams has been appointed by the airport for the second time. The new office block, with a façade designed by local Bristol architect firm Stride Treglown, will sit over 3 storeys and will house project teams and the airport’s Senior Management team. It will also house meeting and training rooms.
At a cost of £8 million, the building is due to be completed by the summer of 2019. Swanmac staff will be onsite in July 2019 to install heavy duty electric sunscreen roller blinds to all second-floor windows, and also chain operated roller blinds to all ground floor windows.
We’re looking forward to completing this installation at one of the UK’s thriving air transport hubs!
