Bristol Royal Infirmary is due to receive £7.7 million as part of a £30 million funding boost for five NHS Trusts in the South West of England. The funding is to support A&E capacity ahead of the winter months.
Each of the trusts will ringfence the funding to be used on the expansion and upgrading of A&E facilities to ensure that they have enough space to treat patients, manage patient flow and improve infection control by continuing to use the additional Nightingale hospital capacity through to March next year.
Health Secretary Matt Hancock said: ”….Hospitals around the country will be able to expand and upgrade to ensure they can continue safely treating patients in the coming months…”
Under instruction from BAM Construction, #TeamSwanmac will be onsite in April 2021 to install cubicle tracks throughout. Our Silent Gliss cubicle tracks are available as both standard or anti-ligature and are durable, with dust covers to lover the risk of cross-infection.
