In 2019, British Telecom announced that Bristol was one of its strategic locations for growth alongside London, Birmingham, Manchester, Belfast, Edinburgh and Cardiff. As such, its brand new 13-storey offices in the centre of this strategic city is due to open later this year, and with more staff returning to office environments post-pandemic, it will provide workspace for up to 2,500 employees. Staff will begin to work on-site during 2022.
The waterfront Assembly Building, as it is known, will offer state-of-the-art facilities, plus a rooftop wildflower meadow, indoor and outdoor breakout spaces, 250 cycle spaces plus shower and changing facilities. Staff will be able to enjoy fantastic views from terraces and balconies in a building designed with staff wellbeing at the fore.
Each floor has been designed with high ceilings to allow the workspaces to be flooded with natural light, further promoting staff wellbeing.
Our team will be onsite during June 2022 to install sunscreen roller blinds to all external windows. Available in a range of colours, fabrics and shading properties these blinds are the perfect solution in environments where a precise level of natural sunlight is required.
