A brand new 18,000 sq m Science, Engineering, Technology and Health education facility which forms a part of Canterbury Christ University is set to open later this year.
The £150m building, set over four-storeys will sit on the former Canterbury Prison Quarter. The prison was sold to the University in 2014 and this is one of three buildings to replace the former prison site; it will also become home to the Kent & Medway Medical School.
We are delighted to have been instructed by main contractor Gilbert Ash to install 300 sunscreen roller blinds and blackout blinds throughout during the Summer of 2020. We’re looking forward to getting on-site!
Roller blinds are an extremely popular choice for education-focused buildings. They are stylish, durable and space-saving which ensures that they are great value for money, and also low maintenance.
Thanks to the range of fabrics available we are able to suit any interior design requirement in terms of colour and pattern, whilst providing the all-essential protection from the sun’s rays to maintain the perfect environment in which to study.
