Brackenhale School is the fastest growing secondary school in Bracknell Forest, driven by its belief that every pupil has the right to achieve their potential.
The school is a mixed comprehensive secondary school and accommodates over 1,000 students. In March 2018, works began to improve existing facilities through the provision of better teaching environments for students studying science and technology subjects.
Wates Construction has been instructed to carry out the works, by the Department for Education, which will be completed by the end of 2020. The works have been a learning experience for pupils of the school who attended a presentation by Wates Construction which showcased their careers and career paths in the construction industry.
Swanmac were onsite in December 2019 to install chain operated roller blinds to all windows, in addition to blackout blinds in laboratories. We also provided and installed window manifestation dots to all glazed screen and partitions. We’re very happy to have played our part in this exciting school development!
