The Gloucestershire Applied Digital Skills Centre opened in the Spring of 2022. The 4.48m development is a part of Cirencester College and is designed to transform digital education with the most modern techniques and technology.
The facility aims to re-introduce digital skills to post-16 students a many of them drop IT-related studies at this stage in school. The Digital Skills Centre is the first of two projects being delivered by E G Carter & Co. The second is the new Technical Level (T-Level) building which is now under construction.
The T-Level building will house state-of-the-art facilities and the latest technology to support T-Level students in areas including accounting, childcare, business and management, engineering and construction.
Our team has been on-site to install sunscreen roller blinds within the Digital Skills Centre and will be on-site at the T-Level building later this year to complete an installation of 160 blinds in total. Sunscreen roller blinds are the perfect choice for educational environments, allowing protection from the sun’s rays yet allowing varying levels of light through the fabric to maximise the benefits of daylight for both students and staff.
