Keir Construction were appointed to re-instate the new roof structure and fit out of 12 flats that will house over 100 students with self-catered, en-suite facilities each fitted with blackout roller blinds and curtains supplied by Swanmac. These blinds and curtains are a favoured product for student accommodation as they enable the students to have complete darkness at any time of the day!
The building is due for completion in November 2017 and this is a huge achievement as the contractors have worked to overcome a number of significant challenges including the treatment of mold and lead paint across the entire building – all to difficult deadlines that have required very tight logistical manipulation.
This has been a spectacular turn-around and we have been delighted to work with Keir Construction on this project. We’re sure the students will appreciate their newly refurbished surroundings!
