Project Description

Court Place Gardens in the delightful riverside village of Iffley in Oxfordshire is part of a £4bn partnership between L&G and Oxford University that will provide new incubator and academic facilities and homes for staff and students.

The existing 1970s housing needs replacing; the new accommodation will provide high-spec, sustainable student accommodation comprising 71 newly built two and three-bed homes situated around three courtyards for Oxford University post-graduate students.  In addition, the Grade II listed Mansion House will be refurbished to provide a further 13 beds and all necessary facilities.

The new houses are designed to meet Passivhaus standards, are bright and airy, and have vast double-glazed windows, high ceilings, and open-plan living.

Swanmac has been appointed to install sunscreen roller blinds, wooden Venetian blinds and velvet curtains. This multi-product installation will ensure that graduates have access to natural light whilst being protected from glare and rays, privacy when required and stylish, soft furnishings that bring both the comfort and luxury of a homely environment.
