Thames Hospice

Thames Hospice
Location: Windsor
Sector: Healthcare
Specifier: Andrew Scott Ltd
Products used: Curtain tracks, printed roller blinds and window film

A £19m transformational redevelopment at the Thames Hospice in Windsor will result in a brand new 28-bed hospice.

With works being carried out by Andrew Scott Ltd, the hospice will be in over eight acres of gardens, overlooking Bray Lake.  Facilities will include three in-patient care units and a brand-new day centre (the Paul Bevan Centre) which will offer complimentary therapy and counselling services for patients and their families.

Also, the development of an Education Centre will provide training in palliative care and end-of-life for staff and health practitioners throughout the UK,  whilst a Physio and Gym centre will provide patients with vital facilities to improve their muscle strength and fitness – both of which are life-enhancing.

Social spaces including the entrance lobby will be large and welcoming and will promote a social and friendly ambience.

The Swanmac team is delighted to be working onsite to install curtain tracks, printed roller blinds and window film and bespoke manifestation.
