Haberdashers School for Girls in Monmouth is a school which encourages its pupils to use their own strengths to strive to achieve their goals, whether musical, sporting or academic.  Stipulating that there is no ‘typical’ student, the school was established in 1892 and is described as a friendly school that produces feisty young women. No bad thing in this day and age!

John Weaver Contractors have recently delivered a project that involved the demolition of the existing gymnasium, which was then replaced by a brand-new performing arts centre.  The new 3-storey building is located next to the existing listed stone school building and combines performance hall, a drama/dance studio plus classrooms together with W.C. facilities and changing rooms.

The team at Swanmac are delighted to have installed a range of crank-operated roller blinds to all windows which will enable safe, and precise adjustment of roller blinds to provide the perfect ambient setting.  We also installed curtains in the main hall.
