Working under instruction from C Zero Developments, Swanmac is delighted to have completed the installation of sunscreen roller blinds and blackout roller blinds on a double roller system throughout The Emporium student accommodation in Birmingham.
The development is a part of the restoration of one of Birmingham’s oldest buildings (a row of derelict houses) which has then had the contemporary 15-storey student accommodation tower built behind.
The student accommodation is of a premium nature and offers a range of studios, duplex, 3-bedroom apartments. Communal spaces include a gym, cinema, library, games and workrooms, plus a garden terrace on the third floor for that all-important outside space!
The installation of our double roller blinds system throughout means that the building benefits from both blackout fabric and sunscreen fabric on the windows, providing the students with every possible option for lighting and heat maintenance whilst they are at work, sleep or play.
