October 2018:
Figbury Lodge Care home is a new 80-bed facility that will provide specialist nursing and Dementia care to residents of the Borough of Poole. It will also include a ‘community hub’ that will offer facilities and services available to members of the wider community in addition to residents.
Named after one of the hills in the local area, Figbury Lodge will provide 21st-century facilities in a caring environment and enable clients to enjoy the very best quality of life.
Facilities include a unit specially adapted for resident rehabilitation following hospital treatment, in an environment that has been designed by architects Atkins Global to recreate the enduring childhood image of home – a two-storey house with a pitched roof, smoking chimney, windows and a door.
We are delighted to have been instructed to install curtains and curtain tracks to all bedrooms, and our team will be onsite in February 2019. A popular product, our curtains and curtain tracks support the desire to create a homely environment that will be familiar to Figbury Lodge’s clients.
July 2019: Project Update
In June, our team was on-site on behalf of the main contractor Stepnell Limited and completed the installation of curtains and voiles for this lovely care home. Everything is installed and now ready for handover.
A key objective of this new care home in addition to helping address a national shortage of quality and affordable care home beds is to create a truly homely environment for residents. Made from our range of high-quality fabrics and in a range of colours, we believe that our curtains certainly help to achieve that objective!
