The £32 million construction by Willmott Dixon of 194 Build-to-Rent homes as a part of the regeneration of Finzels Reach in the centre of Bristol, has recently resulted in the installation of over 1000 chain operated roller blinds by Swanmac.
Once at the heart of medieval Bristol, Finzels Reach then became a sugar refinery and latterly, a brewery site. Just a short walk from Bristol Temple Meads Railway Station, and the Cabot Circus shopping centre, Finzels Reach lies on the city’s Floating Harbour.
The development will include a hotel, offices, housing plus retail and leisure services and is linked via a brand-new pedestrian bridge to Castle Park and the Shopping Quarter.
The construction of the 194 Build-to-Rent apartments is specifically designed to be affordable, long-term rental homes. Each of the studio, one-bed or two-bed homes will have access to a range of communal facilities including a rooftop terrace.
We are delighted to have worked on this project – the largest of this scale to be built in the South West of England!
