Due to open in Spring 2024, the £26m Forest of Dean Community Hospital has been developed by Gloucestershire Health & Care NHS Foundation Trust (GHC) to replace current services in both Cinderford and Lydney.

Located on a former skate park site, it is centrally located and accessible by both car and public transport.

The hospital is a 2-storey building with a 24-bed in-patient unit plus dental, x-ray, physiotherapy and endoscopy outpatient services.

We have been instructed by Speller Metcalfe, who is leading this project, to install a range of shading and privacy products including cassetted chain-operated roller blinds, cubicle tracks and window film.

Cassetted window blinds give an ‘invisible’ appearance with the blind fabric sitting in a cassette (or container) when not in use. These blinds are ideal for healthcare settings with the cassette itself helping to protect the blind fabric and ensuring that the fabric is as dust-free as possible.
