The SciTech Project is a new science and technology centre that is planned for launch in the Autumn of 2023 at Haileybury College in Hertfordshire.
The college strives to provide first-class facilities for its students and when completed, the new buildings will double the school’s existing capacity with new science laboratories, IT suites, robotics and DT facilities. It will also provide 20 inter-connected teaching and seminar rooms plus an outdoor courtyard.
It will also feature twenty inter-connected teaching and seminar spaces and an outdoor courtyard.
The centre is designed to be sustainable with solar panels, green roofs and ground-source heat pumps and it will also become a community resource with pupils from Haileybury Turnford, the school’s secondary academy, being able to use the new facilities.
The development of the SciTech Centre is a partnership with both Oxford and Stanford Universities and is a part of Haileybury’s long-term strategic plan to improve the school’s standing and reputation both nationally and internationally, and it is believed to be the first school in Europe to take part in such a scheme.
Under instruction by Kier Construction, our team will be on-site to install a range of shading solutions including chain-operated roller blinds, electric roller blinds, chain and electric fully-enclosed blackout roller blinds, plus electric rooflight blinds.
