At an investment of £30m, the redevelopment of Harlington School in Hayes, Middlesex is fully funded by the Department of Education. The project will deliver a brand new school plus the library, adult education and community sports centre facilities are being rebuilt.
The new school will provide a further 45 school education places in each of its eight year groups, totalling 1380 pupil places, in an aim to reduce the current waiting list. It will also provide a newly designated unit for young people with Autism to further its current specialist provision for students with physical and sensory disabilities, furthering its reputation for first-class provision for SEN students.
For 6th Form students there will be a new wing and for the local community, a new Adult Education Centre which will further enhance the shared space between the school and local residents.
#TeamSwanmac will be onsite during the Summer of 2023 to install 400 sunscreen roller blinds to assist in creating the perfect learning environment for students, and working environment for teachers and staff.
