The Harris Academy in Rainham, Essex will supply 400 much-needed sixth form places for students offering a varied curriculum of A-Level and BTEC courses in preparation for students progressing into higher education.
The building itself sits next to the existing Harris Academy on the site of a swimming pool belonging to a sports complex that has been unused since 2019. The building has been designed at varying heights up to 3-storeys with an L-shaped structure and aims to create a range of social zones for students and also includes a biodiverse green roof.
Under instruction from ISG, #TeamSwanmac will be onsite to install 300 roller blinds to all classroom windows. Manually operated yet durable our blinds provide a classic shading solution that will help to manage heat and light entering the classrooms, thus supporting a productive working environment for teaching staff and students.
