The new Heart Lung Research Institute (HLRI) is a collaboration between the University of Cambridge and the Royal Papworth Hospital.
At over 8,000 sq m of research space, it will form the largest cardiothoracic centre in Europe and will be one of the most celebrated collaborations with world-class physicians, research and academia teams across Europe.
Based across three storeys, HLRI will be linked to Royal Papworth via a basement tunnel. It will provide a 10-bed clinical research facility and its state-of-the-art laboratory will have space for 22 principal investigators and a research team of 250 all working to deliver on an ambitious 5-year target to demonstrate proof-of-concept for at least 10 new drugs or diagnostic innovations in heart and lung diseases.
#TeamSwanmac will be onsite during the Summer of 2021 to install Silent Gliss roller blinds and curtains throughout. Our Silent Gliss blinds are simple to manipulate, timeless in style and silent in operation and one of our most popular products across all sectors.
Curtains are available in a wide range of fabrics and are both elegant and practical in healthcare and commercial settings.
