Our team of installers has recently completed the installation of over 800 sets of curtain tracks at the 200-bedroom hotel Jury’s hotel in the centre of Bristol. The hotel is a part of the Glassfield development on Temple way, so named in reference to its former life as the original glassworks site of ‘Bristol Blue’ glass.
Work began in 2019 by contractor Kier Construction and the final site will result in 9 storeys of modern hotel accommodation with a restaurant, bar and meeting rooms plus shops and offices – all designed by architects AWW to create a cosmopolitan hub for leisure and business travellers. Special attention has also been paid to ensuring that the history of the location has been given due consideration.
Under instruction from Kier, #TeamSwanmac installed blackout and voile curtains to every window. Voile curtains have the benefit of enabling privacy whilst allowing full light to stream through the window. These have been coupled with blackout curtains to ensure absolute darkness when needed at nighttime for the perfect night’s sleep, even in a city centre location.
