Two brand new schools on Squinter Pip Way, Bowbrook in Shrewsbury will comprise a primary school for 236 pupils plus a nearby SEND school for 120 pupils aged between 4-16. The site will be adjacent to housing to the east and green spaces to the west.
The schools will share an access road, each school will operate independently and have access to its own multi-use games area, large grass pitches, hardstand playground and soft informal play areas. The SEND school will have an additional sensory garden.
The schools are due to open in September 2023 and before this, #TeamSwanmac will be on-site at both schools to install a range of chain-operated roller blinds with both blackout and dimout fabric.
