Kingston University Student Halls

Kingston University Student Halls
Location: Kingston University
Sector: Education
Specifier: TP Bennett
Products used: Roller blinds, rooflight blinds and blackout blinds

During the coming 12 months, works at Kingston University Kingston Hill and Seething Wells sites will result in the refurbishment of over 1200 rooms, plus the addition of 117 new rooms.

Older residences will be replaced with modern accommodation, providing a more fit-for-purpose living experience in the 2020s and five heritage buildings at Seething Wells will be sensitively restored.

The new buildings, designed by architects TP Bennett will be extended to include modern kitchen and common spaces that will be shared by bedroom clusters of up to 12 and amenities including laundry room, wifi, and common rooms are available.

The Kingston Student Living Consortium, comprising Engie and Equitix will manage the development – from financing to construction and facilities management.

Our team will install roller blinds, rooflight blinds and blackout blinds across multiple buildings.   Our blinds are strong enough to withstand a high level of usage and are made from wipe-clean fabric that ensures they maintain their appearance.  Our rooflight blinds enable management and students to easily manage the light and heat entering the accommodation, even when inaccessible, ensuring that student life is as comfortable as it can possibly be!
