Team Swanmac is waiting in the wings to turnaround an installation at the new Linc Cymru Extra Care scheme.
Ultimately, the planned scheme will deliver 40 independent apartments comprising 36 singles and four doubles and will provide accommodation for those who are 55 and over within a single 3-storey building; however, due to the current COVID-19 crisis, the building is being rapidly transformed into a centre which will provide much-needed care for COVID -19 patients.
Our team of key workers is ready and on-hand to assist and complete the installation of roller blinds and window manifestations with a very quick turnaround time.
About the scheme:
The first of its kind in the area, the new Linc Cymru Extra Care scheme, on the site of the old Maesyffynnon Residential Care Home, is being built using innovative modular construction. High-quality sections (called modules) are manufactured off-site and are then dropped into place on-site.
The scheme will deliver 40 independent apartments comprising 36 singles and four doubles and will provide accommodation for those who are 55 and over within a single 3-storey building. Each of the apartments has a walk-in shower, kitchen and living space.
This type of community-based accommodation is increasingly popular as it provides people with more choice and increased independence as they become older. Residents live a free and independent life but will have a Care Manager permanently on-site
Our team is installing 200 roller blinds throughout in addition to window film on external windows to help protect residents from the sun’s glare.
