Located on the site of the former City Council offices on Lower Parliament Street in the centre of Nottingham, a new 357-bed student accommodation scheme is underway.
The city is home to two universities and thus there is much need for additional accommodation. This scheme designed by ECE Westworks will provide purpose-built accommodation to help ensure that there is an adequate quantity of accommodation available. The development will comprise two buildings that include both cluster beds and studios. Residents will also enjoy social lounges, a gym, and shared study areas.
The ground floor will also provide 100sq m of commercial space which will be used by local, independent businesses and an underground car park for 48 vehicles will be available for public use.
#TeamSwanmac has been instructed to install blackout roller blinds throughout the student accommodation, plus voile curtains to all ground floor bedrooms, for guaranteed privacy.
