Pembroke College Oxford | Blackout Curtains | Swanmac
Location: Oxford
Sector: Education
Specifier: Beard Construction
Products used: Blackout Curtains

Sitting on the outskirts of historic Oxford, and directly on the River Thames, Pembroke College has a strategic aim of providing more housing for its graduate students, plus improved support for academics.

With this in mind, its Geoffrey Archer Building (GAB), which is annexed to Pembroke College is undergoing £14m works that will result in the demolition and redevelopment of a new student accommodation block.

The works will provide 77 ensuite graduate bedrooms 4 of which will be accessible. 4 studio flats for couples plus a secure bike store, common room and facilities. An additional building with studio flats for junior academics will also be added.

Our team will be onsite during the summer to install a range of high-quality blackout curtains. These curtains are heavy-duty thanks to their blackout qualities, flame-retardant and available in a range of fabrics, colours and styles to suit any interior design specifications.
