This new medical centre has been very badly needed by the local community as existing facilities could not cope.
The new premises for the Porthway Surgery will provide state-of-the-art facilities that include a pharmacy 20 consulting rooms and 6 treatment rooms. There is also space for minor operations and community health services.
Andrew Scott Limited is the appointed contractor on this health sector project which is due to open in the Spring of 2019. The team from Swanmac have installed PVC blackout roller and vertical blinds throughout the building. These provide privacy which of course, is a very important requirement in medical settings.
Silent Gliss cubicle tracks were also installed where required. These durable tracks are perfect for creating treatment cubicles. They can be combined together to create a seamless line – and when space is tight, this is ideal. is suitable for a variety of commercial uses, and it is also commonly used to create hospital cubicles.
The community in Porthcawl will have a medical centre to be proud of and we’re delighted to have supported its development!
