Following three years of consistent growth the in UK, leading design, engineer and manufacturer of aluminium windows and doors, ALuK recently acquired a major new site in Chepstow.
Situated on a former wind turbine manufacture site, the new factory of some 32,000 square metres will become a state-of-the-art manufacturing site and become ALuK’s new headquarters.
Led by contractors Jones Brothers (Henllan) Ltd, this is a multi-million-pound investment which will renovate the existing factory with a three-storey extension to the offices, the addition of a showroom and re-configuration and renovation of the factory unit itself. The increased space will allow for additional assembly and production capacity and it will also provide space and support for product design innovation, training and provide much-needed warehousing and office space.
The exterior of the building will showcase an impressive new façade of glazing and dark metal will be cladded to the front of the building.
As a part of this project, Swanmac have been contracted to supply and install 77 roller blinds to help ensure that the optimal working environment is provided to staff both in offices and within the factory itself.
The Chief Executive of Monmouth County Council, Paul Matthews has said that he is delighted that ALuK are making the move to Chepstow having been impressed by their vision, their values and continued investment in the area.
