Yr Egin is a new development that sits in the heart of the University of Wales Trinity St David. Already at 74% occupancy (exceeding its target of 60%), the hub provides facilities for creative industries students, staff and businesses to both learn and create through its state-of-the-art facilities.
Business tenants include those from a range of creative industries including multi-media publishing and digital technology, video and post-production, graphic design, translation and subtitling.
The University has a vision for Yr Egin – which is to develop a centre that reflects commercial best practice within the creative sector, all linked to UWTSD’s academic development and which will ultimately result in the facility contributing positively to the digital economies of Wales, and of the UK.
In December this year, Swanmac will install sunscreen roller blinds, window film and curtains to all perimeter windows. Our team is very much looking forward to adding some of our own creativity to the windows of this impressive building.
