The world-famous Shepperton Studios are home to many of the world’s most loved films and TV series including, Gladiator, Harry Potter, Love Actually, Mamma Mia! and Star Wars. The studios are now undergoing an £80m expansion to the North, which will also be followed by a further £121m investment and an additional 95,000 sq m of space to the South.
The developments will provide sound stages, workshops offices and utilities for these renowned studios which have been commissioned as a result of increased competition thanks to significant changes in the entertainment industry fuelled by the entrance of streaming providers into the marketplace.
Swanmac Limited is delighted to be involved in the refurbishment with the installation of hundreds of timber 50mm Venetian blinds to offer an authentic and traditional effect in the studio offices. Our installation team will be onsite during the Spring of 2023.
