The 75,000 sq. ft Student Loan Company HQ in Glasgow undergoing a £6.5m fit-out. Home to over 600 civil servants, the building is situated at Buchanan Wharf along with Barclays’ northern Europe campus and a Legal & General building.
The building itself comprises six storeys and can accommodate over 1,000 members of staff and both its design and location are a part of the SLC’s focus on becoming a modern, responsive and sustainable organisation.
Our team will be on-site to install a range of chain and electric-operated roller blinds and blackout roller blinds, all of which will be fitted into recess and blind boxes. Blind boxes ensure that the blinds sit within a powder-coated, colour-coordinated box and when not in operation, appear almost invisible.
We will also be installing voile curtains which are fire-retardant and soften the incoming light, providing an additional aesthetic to each room.
