Now a £6million renovation led by Midas Construction is underway and due from completion in Spring 2018. The renovations include a new café and bar plus performance and exhibition spaces for artists and will transform this venue for artists and audiences alike.
Swanmac has been instructed to install electrically operated roller blinds with powder-coated cassette boxes. The benefit of these cassetted blinds is that, courtesy of the boxes themselves, they fit seamlessly and invisibly into the window design, appearing a part of the window itself. This effectively renders them invisible when fully retracted. When required, however, they are accessed via remote control and quietly provide the perfect levels of light or protection from solar rays – perfect for both art exhibitions and live music or a relaxed drink in the bar.
