Currently under development, the University of Wales Trinity St David’s new campus at SA1 in Swansea is really taking shape. At an investment of £300 million, the campus will provide a base for the Faculty of Architecture, Computing and Engineering, alongside the Faculty of Education and Communities.
A new digital library has also been developed and will be based on the same site. This innovative resource centre brings together three existing libraries and will support the university, an innovation hub and also the wider community.
The University has a vision for its new campus – and that is to create an academically focussed neighbourhood which will attract businesses to co-locate and transfer knowledge, develop skills and attract investment into the region. In stimulating investment and economic growth in Swansea, the university has a significant part to play in the future of this major Welsh city.
Swanmac has been instructed to install sunscreen roller blinds to offices and teaching areas. One of our core products, sunscreen roller blinds will help to ensure that the perfect working, learning and teaching environment is maintained through moderating heat, maintaining it where necessary and also providing protection from the sun’s harmful rays.
We look forward to this installation and our team wishes the staff, students and businesses involved the very best!
