Leeds is the UK’s fastest-growing city and the largest and is recognised as the most important region for legal, financial and professional services. To meet growing demand the Holbeck Urban Village has been reinvented to meet the region’s changing needs and within this sits the City One development. Over 9 ½ acres, City One will provide office, residential, retail, leisure and hotel services to the immediate surroundings.
The Fabrik development will provide 216 high-spec residential apartments on Sweet Street as a part of this regeneration. Contractor Tolent commenced the £34m works, for property developer Oakapple Group in July 2019.
The development comprises 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments plus a residents’ gym, lounge and all-important basement car parking.
