The Portway Building offers prime laboratory space within Granta Park, Cambridge, which has been home to many leading research and development organisations for over 20 years. Across 3 wings and circa 94,000 sq ft, the Portway Building is a prominent part of the Park which is set in 120 acres, the site has over 3,800 people working on site.
Designed to be an inspirational place of work, in addition to a beautiful setting, the site offers resident organisations superb facilities for onsite staff including a fitness and wellbeing centre, restaurant and on-site nursery. The 3 wings are linked via a reception lobby and double-height winter garden which is used as a staff-break out space and meeting venue.
#TeamSwanmac will be onsite during the Autumn of 2021 to install electrically operated curtains to the newly refurbished building. Our curtains are flame retardant and come in a wide range of colours and styles including dim out, blackout, sheer and wool.
Curtains share many of the benefits that roller blinds offer, and add a textured dimension to the interior design. Together with remote electrical operation, curtains are ideal in providing a warm, welcoming ambience in large working environments with large windows.
