In the first of a 2-phase development, The Square, latterly rebranded as Cortland Broad Street in Birmingham is a built-to-rent (BTR) development with over 400 units.
The development will result in two buildings. One is a tower with 35 storeys and the other is a low-rise with six; the buildings are due to be completed early in 2024. The 440 one and two-bedroom apartments will be available to renters in the area who will also enjoy over 12,000 sq ft of amenities including a gym, cinema, running track, lounges, dining areas, running track and bouldering wall plus a roof terrace from where they will enjoy views across the city. Residents will also enjoy electric vehicle parking and secure cycle storage.
#TeamSwanmac has been instructed by lead contractor, RG Group to install blackout curtains to all bedrooms during Q1 2024. Blackout curtains are a perfect solution for city residential shading thanks to their ability to provide darkness regardless of big city light pollution. Our range of fabrics and colours also ensures that there is a colour and style to suit any interior design requirements.
The second phase of this development is to follow with plans for an eight-storey mid-range hotel with 229 rooms hotel approved.
