The £35m development of the purpose-built Ty Nant student accommodation in Swansea will provide 350 much-needed beds for the growing student population in the area.
Located on the site of former government offices and adjacent to the railway station, the accommodation will open its doors in time for the 2023/24 academic year.
Rooms have been designed with student life in mind with every room offering an en-suite bathroom and a small double bed. The stunning Swansea surroundings can be viewed from a roof terrace and shared spaces including courtyards will be available for students to relax and socialise in along with a games room, study room and facilities including a laundry room and cycle store.
The building itself has been designed to a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ rating, with soft landscaping to the wider site adding to the biodiversity of the area in which it sits.
Our team will be on-site in Q3 2023 to install a range of blackout roller blinds to all bedroom windows. Ever popular in PBSA developments, these blinds are available in a range of flame-retardant colours and will provide blackout shielding occupants from daylight or city night lights.
