The University of Portsmouth is renowned for its track record in creative arts. The University has recently invested in the Eldon Building, central to its creative industries and arts faculty.
An investment of £5.2 m has enabled the basement to be refurbished, with teaching spaces remodelled to create a brand new music studio. The 2nd floor has also been remodelled to improve the learning spaces by creating a new CCI XR (Centre for Creative and Immersive eXtended Reality). It is set to rank as a world-class facility where students will be able to combine the virtual and immersive worlds via a range of applications.
Under instruction by Overbury, #TeamSwanmac is set to install curtains and curtain tracks, roller blinds and fully enclosed blackout blinds.
In an industry where noise and light pollution can be both distracting visually and audibly, our soundproofing curtains and fully enclosed blackout roller blinds provide the quiet and darkness required for students to focus on projects, whilst our standard roller blinds will provide protection from the sun’s rays, maintain an ambient temperature and still let light through enabling students to work productively.
