In May 2019, construction began on a brand new medical centre that is the largest single investment in primary care in Herefordshire ever. Built in the heart of Hereford, the new centre will bring together five GP practices, all of whom are currently located in charming, but poorly suited buildings and who will be located at the centre when it opens this year.
The Practice Business Manager, Ceri Chaplin, believes that serving the Hereford community from under one roof will make a positive change to the delivery of GP services. The 3-storey facility is an energy-efficient design and will offer patients 31 consulting rooms, 12 treatment rooms, greater capacity and ultimately a more efficient and improved experience.
