The latest phase of the Wapping Wharf Residential Development in Bristol comprises 256 homes, 163 of which are for private purchase, 49 are shared ownership and 44 are rental properties.
Phase 2 continues the industrial wharf-like character of the Phase 1 design with a number of residences having balconies overlooking street scenes or garden courtyards. Across two buildings of five and six floors, the development includes one, two and three-bedroomed apartments.
Interest in the development has spiked in recent weeks, thanks to the Government’s stamp duty holiday following the Coronavirus pandemic and apartments are selling off-plan with over half of them sold already.
Under instruction from Balfour Beatty Swanmac will be on-site during October 2020 to install traditional wooden Venetian blinds and vertical blinds to a range of apartments.
Slatted blinds, whether vertical or the horizontal Venetian style allow the slats to be manipulated to let in and block out light to meet a specific requirement. Slatted blinds are easy to maintain as they are easily wiped clean and maintenance is also straightforward as individual slat are replaceable as and when necessary.
