Swanmac is delighted to have been contracted by Deanestor to install 300 blackout roller blinds at a brand new student accommodation facility in Botley, Oxfordshire.
The new site is part of a scheme called Westway Place which comprises a complete re-development of Botley, a district on the outskirts of Oxford. Designed by Mountford Pigott Architects, Phase 1 comprises a 123 bedroomed hotel plus a 261 student study apartments, split over three blocks above new retail units.
The entire project has been developed to breathe new life into the area, and will also include a new Baptist church, library, office spaces and restaurants. All of this will centre around a boulevard, providing pleasant and communal outside space.
Swanmac will be on-site in September 2019 and is pleased to be working alongside Deanestor and once more and also SDC Construction. Phase 2 of the project, which will see the completion of 140 residential units will begin early in 2020 for completion before the end of the year.
