In March 2021, #TeamSwanmac will be onsite at the new Whitmore High School in Barry to install heavy-duty curtains to drama rooms and roller blinds to classrooms.
The school is a £29m project under the 21st Century Schools Programme and will replace the existing 905 pupil capacity school. The new 11,000 m2 site will accommodate 1,100 pupils, with 200 at sixth form level.
Across three storeys the school offers 70 classrooms, 2 drama studios plus indoor and outdoor spaces including an all-weather pitch and multi-use games court. An inclusive suite to support those with Additional Learning Needs is also a part of this first-class school.
